- Dr. Pimple Popper’s latest video features a fan-favorite pop — a dilated pore of winer.
- A dilated pore of winer is basically an overgrown blackhead that occurs when dead skin cells plug a hair follicle causing keratin to collection.
- When Dr. Lee removes this patients DPOW (the nickname pop fans have assigned to the bump), she proclaims that it’s ‘like a rock.’
In her latest Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper has a treat for her ‘pop-a-holics’ — the affectionate nickname for fans. Her most recent clip features a gnarly dilated pore of winer that has to be pried from from her patient’s skin. But Dr. Pimple Popper — aka dermatologist and TLC’s Dr. Sandra Lee — doesn’t back down from a fight and pulls this ‘rock’ free.
The new clip begins with Dr. Lee stabbing into the sides of the dilated pore in an attempt to get it popped more easily. Eventually, she’s able to loosen the gunk’s grip on her patient and begins to squeeze the sides of the bump until the black insides begin to emerge.
Once outside the skin a bit, the dermatologist grabs a pair of heavy duty tweezers to pry the growth out of her patient. As she finishes and pulls the buildup free, she exclaims, “I think you’re going to lose a little weight! It’s like a rock! Wow!” For good measure, she then slows down the clip in a slo-mo replay for true ‘pop-a-holics.’
